- Positions Start Date: Fall Semester 2026 (August 19, 2026) The Nursing Department at Minneapolis College is committed to excellence in teaching and learning as we educate the next generation of nurses.
- This position follows a 9-month academic calendar, mid-August to mid-May.
Responsibilities
- Regularly develop, review, and revise instructional and assessment materials.
Requirements
- Graduate degree with a major in nursing, or
- The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
- Experience teaching college level nursing including theory, lab, and clinical.
- Experience serving diverse and historically under-served populations.
- Proven commitment to student success and program completion.
- Experience with learner outcomes assessment and evaluation.
- Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.
- Faculty members collaborate in the delivery of nursing courses to prepare students to complete their Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and to take the national nursing licensure exam, NCLEX-RN.
