  • Specialist will monitor all crane operations from the warehouse floor by monitoring crane operations via computer screen to resolve pallet locations in error status.

Responsibilities

  • Crane Resolution Specialist will maintain maximum throughput and up time for the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).
  • Must work within the guidelines of safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to lift cases by hand weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets
  • Steel toed safety shoes are required
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with Excel worksheets.
  • Mental reasoning capabilities and mature problem solving skills while managing multiple priorities.
  • Interact respectfully and courteously with employees, co-workers, management, customers and vendors.
  • Demonstrate safety consciousness and set tone for safe, productive, respectful work environment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of preventive measures to reduce freight and property damage.

Nice to have

  • 2:00pm-10:30pm plus any requested OT as needed
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution setting or knowledge of logistics is preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating powered warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.
