About the role

  • As our Valve Technician, you will be responsible for picking, assembling, testing, painting, packaging and shipping pressure relief valves to meet safety, production, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machine shop experience to progress within a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with focus on quality and teamwork!
  • Location: Brantford, Ontario Salary: $25.00/HR Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Support the lean initiatives, goals and projects as directed by their supervisor.
  • Perform assembly and test operations in accordance with written procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in either assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and follow:
  • Ability to assemble small components with lightweight hand tools
  • Ability to read job documentation and Engineering drawings
  • High School or GED required
  • Self-motivated, demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
