About the role
- We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Canals as an early member of our growing product team.
- We need someone who can balance systems thinking with strong product intuition - someone who understands that payments products require both technical depth and exceptional user experience.
- The ideal candidate thinks deeply about onboarding, trust, reconciliation, compliance tradeoffs, conversion, and reducing operational friction in high-stakes financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own and help define the strategy for payments and financial infrastructure across the platform
- Partner with external payment providers and platforms to support evolving product capabilities
- Design intuitive payment experiences that prioritize trust, clarity, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally across product, engineering, operations, and leadership to drive execution

- Canals builds software for wholesale distributors, helping them operate more efficiently through automation and AI.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of transaction flows, payment operations, onboarding experiences, or financial workflow design
