About the role

  • As a Mobility Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the payroll tax compliance and accounting reporting areas of Palantir's Global Mobility program.
  • In this role you'll be assisting the Mobility Tax team to ensure the tax implications of every assignment are understood and accounted for correctly by both Palantir and our assignees.

Responsibilities

  • You will craft, implement, and execute processes to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and deliver great customer service to our mobile employees.
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Finance, People and Legal teams and business leads to support the seamless movement of Palantir employees around the world.
  • Maintain relationships with external tax service providers to ensure our employees receive best-in-class support and advice
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the business to drive projects and initiatives related to mobility processes and internal systems
  • Partner with Palantir's internal AI and data teams to help build and refine tools that improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of global mobility operations

Requirements

  • To be successful in this role you'll need a combination of program management, process optimization, and execution skills in addition to a working knowledge of mobility tax workflows.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of U.S. income taxes
  • familiarity with foreign tax systems is a plus
