Provide support in the review of property budgets, business plans & quarterly reforecasts
Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents & other legal agreements
Help develop financial models including discounted cash flows, IRR analysis, NPV analysis, etc. utilizing Microsoft Excel and Argus
It is an alternative credit pioneer that seeks to deliver attractive returns through its relationships, specialist expertise, and global reach.
We focus exclusively on credit, building deep expertise across direct lending, structured credit, liquid credit, special situations, infrastructure debt, and real estate.

2+ years of full-time experience with a real estate background
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field
Familiarity with loan due diligence to include property appraisals, environmental reports, engineering reports, and insurance reviews
Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
Understanding of real estate fundamentals, commercial office leases, financing principles, and debt capital structures
Highly proficient in Excel
Effective oral and written communication skills
Compensation Range
Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton/Benefit Street Partners, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $100,000 - $120,000, plus discretionary bonus.

Loan servicing or construction loan administration experience a plus
Commercial real estate valuation, underwriting and/or accounting experience a plus
