Responsibilities

  • Support production to meet organizational metrics
  • Create production work documentation for new and existing products and processes
  • Maintain & facilitate improvement of quality procedure documentation including RMA/CAR/MRR
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corresponding solutions
  • Design, Develop & Optimize Manufacturing processes & systems to expand company capabilities with a focus on sintering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar with Operations Understanding
  • 5 years Manufacturing / Process Engineering experience with a focus on technical problem solving and transfer of development projects to production levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Hands on working knowledge of vacuum, high-temp, or special atmosphere sintering and processing
  • Established in 1959 and located in Farmington, Connecticut, the company is poised for significant expansion over the next 5 years.

  • Must possess a technical problem-solving mindset that enjoys resolving significant engineering challenges
  • 8D, FMEA, Cause and Effect, 5 Why's
  • Experience using Stage Gate process for development through production scaling
  • Lean and Six Sigma skills necessary to efficiently and methodically resolve technical challenges
  • NFPA 86

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience.
