Responsibilities

- Align team resources to project needs, helping balance workload and support efficient utilization of staff.
- Support staff development through coaching, performance feedback, and technical oversight.
- Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and support team growth.
- Prepare and lead client meetings, technical presentations, and design workshops.
- Lead the planning, modeling, design, and delivery of complex structural projects, including fish passage and screening, hydropower, and hydraulic structures.
- The Senior Structural Engineer - Team Lead is responsible for leading the planning, design, and delivery of complex hydraulic structures projects while guiding and developing a high-performing engineering team.
- You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies, and oversee projects from concept through design and into construction.
- This role is structured to support experienced engineers stepping into leadership for the first time, as well as established professionals who bring prior team leadership experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, or similar ABET-accredited engineering program
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, and preferrable with REVIT
