About the role
- This role will leverage our NetSuite MRP system to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions.
- The ideal candidate has strong experience in material planning, ERP/MRP systems (preferably NetSuite), and external manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning of consigned materials supplied to Contract Manufacturers.
- Generate and manage supply plans
- Collaborate closely with:
- Contract Manufacturers on build schedules, forecasts, and consumption
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data accuracy, and system utilization.
- Support S&OP or demand planning cycles with material readiness insights.
- Maintain accurate master data within NetSuite (BOMs, item records, planning attributes).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- ALSO is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Material Planner to manage the planning, procurement, and availability of consigned materials supporting our Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-6+ years of experience in material planning, supply planning, or inventory management
- Strong proficiency in Excel (much more than just pivot tables)
Nice to have
- Experience in hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Familiarity with demand planning and S&OP processes
- Experience with inventory reconciliation and audit processes

Compensation
- The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
