About the role

  • This role will leverage our NetSuite MRP system to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions.
  • The ideal candidate has strong experience in material planning, ERP/MRP systems (preferably NetSuite), and external manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning of consigned materials supplied to Contract Manufacturers.
  • Generate and manage supply plans
  • Collaborate closely with:
  • Contract Manufacturers on build schedules, forecasts, and consumption
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data accuracy, and system utilization.
  • Support S&OP or demand planning cycles with material readiness insights.
  • Maintain accurate master data within NetSuite (BOMs, item records, planning attributes).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • ALSO is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Material Planner to manage the planning, procurement, and availability of consigned materials supporting our Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-6+ years of experience in material planning, supply planning, or inventory management
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (much more than just pivot tables)

Nice to have

  • Experience in hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
  • Familiarity with demand planning and S&OP processes
  • Experience with inventory reconciliation and audit processes

Compensation

  • The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
