Responsibilities
- Support the close ended and open end FM leadership in all stages of the fundraising lifecycle, collaborating with internal functional partners and business group leads as well as interfacing investors and external advisors.
- Proactively create and manage fund-specific marketing materials, including offering memoranda, investor presentations, case studies, fact sheets and other documents related to private funds.
- Conduct private fund/competitor research/limited partner landscape (both qualitative and quantitative).
- Identify issues and proactively manage risk.
- The main focus of the role being the support of the fundraising lifecycle for real estate closed ended funds and open end, ensuring all stakeholders in the organization contribute their expertise into the design of the fundraising strategy and coordination of all stakeholder groups in delivering their respective roles throughout each stage of the lifecycle.
Requirements
- Post graduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline
- Experience Required:
- 3+ years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, including closed ended funds
- Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate (internally) details of fund and fundraise approach
- Experience in high volume processes and technology enabled solutions.
- Key Competencies/Behaviours Required:
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in real estate preferred.
Compensation
- Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus).
- Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
- Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
