About the role

The Processing Technician ensures safe, effective treatment and handling of containerized wastes by properly receiving, screening, unloading, treating and tracking incoming waste streams and outgoing residuals.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews, signs, and processes incoming manifests, noting any discrepancies.
Directs off-loading operations for receipt of primarily non bulk containers into the facility's storage systems for process and handling.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to use light equipment, such as forklift and pallet-jack.
Basic knowledge of computer operations is needed to properly operate handheld scanners.
Skilled using hand and shop tools.
Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

The pay range for this position is $18.90 to $26.02* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions.
