About the role
- We're looking for a detail-oriented, people-first People Operations Specialist to join our team here at DFTBA!
- DFTBA helps creators make a living by creating and selling high-quality products and services for their communities and supporters.
- Every creator, every product, and every sale matters - and none of it happens without great people behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Support managers with performance documentation, corrective action, policy interpretation, and performance review coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition efforts, and feedback processes.
- In partnership with the Director of People Operations, maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with the DFTBA Workers Union, supporting consistent CBA application and acting as a reliable, trustworthy point of contact for union-related questions and concerns.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Our company's history--led by owners Hank and John Green--is grounded in the online space and collaborating with content creators to craft, sell and deliver high-quality products for their communities and supporters.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within an HR function.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets and Google Drive.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
Compensation
- $65,000-$80,000 DOE This position is not eligible for inclusion in the DFTBA Workers Union bargaining unit.
