- This role applies Lean Manufacturing principles, methodologies, and tools to drive operational excellence, enhance process efficiency, and increase organizational responsiveness.
- The Performance Validation Engineer evaluates existing systems, identifies improvement opportunities, and leads the implementation of sustainable process enhancements that align with and support overall business strategies and organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities
- The Performance Validation Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving hot test equipment and processes that support Mercury's Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity objectives.
- Mercury empowers boaters with products that are easy to use, extremely reliable and backed by the most dedicated customer support in the world.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent Engineering degree)
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting software is desired
Nice to have
- Formal Lean Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification
- Solid comprehension and listening skills
- Excellent analytical and data analysis skills, careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and capable of working independently within deadlines

Compensation
- $73,600 - $106,200
