About the role
- The Douglas Family Early Childhood Center of Sinai Akiba Academy, a Sinai Temple school, is looking for experienced, dedicated early childhood educators to join our substitute teaching team.
- This on-call, non-exempt position involves working with a supportive and talented team of diverse teachers in a fun, warm, creative and nurturing environment for children ages 18 months to 5 years old.
- Sinai Akiba Academy is a preeminent private Jewish day school in Los Angeles, serving students in Early Childhood through Grade 8.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an inviting environment through daily cleanup of the outdoor yard spaces
- Provide supervision and support for DFECC students throughout range of daily activities as directed by the DFECC Director, DFECC Associate Director, Head of School, or designee
Requirements
- Must complete California Mandated Reporter Training within 90 days of start date (renewed every 2 years)
Nice to have
- Up-to-date pediatric CPR and first aid certification
