About the role
- Summary: The Income Tax Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Essential Functions Assist with the preparation of workpapers for federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.
Requirements
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
- The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.

- This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure compliance with tax regulations, assist in audits, and provide accurate documentation.
- Essential Functions
- Assist with the preparation of workpapers for federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.
- Assist in preparation of income tax provisions
- Assist with review of federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.
- Assist with preparation and filing of unclaimed property reports and related functions.
- Conduct basic tax research and stay informed of relevant changes in tax laws and regulations.
Compensation
- Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
