About the role

  • Summary: The Income Tax Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Essential Functions Assist with the preparation of workpapers for federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.

Requirements

  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

  • The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.

  • Essential Functions
  • Assist with the preparation of workpapers for federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.
  • Assist in preparation of income tax provisions
  • Assist with review of federal and state corporate and shareholder tax returns.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of unclaimed property reports and related functions.
  • Conduct basic tax research and stay informed of relevant changes in tax laws and regulations.

Compensation

  • Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
