About the role

- Daytime, evening, and weekend hours as necessary to accommodate service needs.
Responsibilities
- The persons in these positions will assist to maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for visitors and staff by performing general custodial maintenance in the buildings of the library and the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County.
- Performs tasks that require the ability to walk, sit, talk and hear
- Building emergencies may necessitate work outside hours of library operation.
Requirements
- Walks and stands for long periods of time and is occasionally required to climb up and down ladders, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach from floor level to six feet in height
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent and prior custodial experience are required.
- Basic computer skills, including email, preferred.
Skills
- Uses hands to operate and use objects, tools and controls
Compensation
- $20k-$25k
