About the role

  • Western Colorado University invites applications for the position of Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

Responsibilities

  • Actively encourages and supports the psychological and emotional well-being of team members, provides appropriate mentoring and life guidance, and seeks professional assistance when circumstances warrant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • General knowledge of NCAA Division II basketball practices and regulations.
  • Ability to establish good rapport and relationships with players, administrators, staff, alumni and the general public.
  • 1-2 years playing basketball experience.
  • 1-2 years basketball coaching experience.

Nice to have

  • Coaching and competition experience at the collegiate level.

Compensation

  • Base Salary of $40,560.
