About the role
- Vars Concrete is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Boom Truck Operator to join our team in Vars, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Operate boom trucks to safely transport and deliver construction materials to residential, commercial, and industrial job sites
- Perform material placement using hydraulic boom systems
- Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records
- This posting may be used to build a pool of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities with Vars Concrete and its affiliated companies.
Requirements
- Experience operating boom trucks required
- Experience operating stone slinger and/or concrete pump truck equipment considered a strong asset
- Ability to read delivery tickets and follow site instructions
- Strong understanding of safe lifting, load securement, and equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when required
- The ideal candidate has experience working in the construction or concrete industry, demonstrates strong equipment operation skills, and is committed to safe and efficient job site practices.
- Operate stone slinger and/or concrete pump truck equipment when required
