About the role

Utilize query optimization and tuning skills including cross database and cross server queries, analysis and troubleshooting interactions between databases, operating systems and applications with regard to performance and resources usage.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following: MySQL Database administration including Install, Upgrade, HA, DR, Replication, and backups
Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following:

Responsible for the installation, configurations and maintenance of MySQL database Standalone & Master-Master cluster, DR setup.
Analyze and predict through trend analysis and resolve database system, storage and application issues.
Monitor jobs in production and be responsible for load/hardware analysis mapping, fault tolerance and security.
Evaluate and implement database technologies and utilities.
Perform database upgrades, patching, migrations.
Review and implement database changes.
Drive operational efficiency topics.

Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $145,101 - $195,976.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role.
The targeted combined range for this position is $145,101 - $222,700.
Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
