About the role
- BBVA Securities Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations professional with a strong background in post-trade execution services within the U.S. Fixed Income Markets.
- The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Fixed Income operations, including Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) processing, Tri-Party Repo operations with BNY Mellon, and bilateral settlement activities through DTC.
- This individual will play a critical role in ensuring efficient trade settlement, exception management, operational integrity, and ongoing process transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operational activities of the BSI Operations team across U.S. Fixed Income products and settlement platforms.
- Perform pre-matching and validation of trades to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
- Manage urgent operational inquiries from clients, counterparties, and Front Office teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve settlement exceptions and reconciliation breaks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of operational records.
- Partner with liquidity and treasury teams to ensure the successful and accurate close of business each day.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of future operational models to support business growth and evolving market demands.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to continuously evolving business and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in post-trade operations within the U.S. Fixed Income market.
- FINRA Series 99 license required
