About the role
- We are looking for a Director, Investment Services, to join our national sales organization as part of our California team.

- This role is a remote work from home position based California.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing investment management clients.
- Presentations: Deliver knowledgeable presentations to Councils, Boards, and investment committees about California CLASS and related offerings.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see beyond day-to-day tasks and develop long-term strategies for growth.
Requirements
- Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications and related technologies.
- Unwavering integrity and the ability to instill confidence in clients and colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current Series 7 & 63 licenses or willingness to obtain is required.
- Required Skills/Abilities: Sales & Relationship Management: 3-5 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, business development, or relationship management within the public sector.

- Familiarity with investible capital markets, particularly fixed income funds, short/intermediate-term fixed income investments, and money market instruments is preferred.

- Education and Experience: Experience: Prior experience servicing local governments in California is preferred.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree required.
- Licensing: Current Series 7 & 63 licenses or willingness to obtain is required.
- Presentation Skills: Exceptional client-facing and presentation abilities with high investment acumen.
- Analytical Skills: Robust quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
