About the role
- As a Senior GitHub Enterprise Platform Engineer, you will serve as a hands-on technical leader for eBay's GitHub Enterprise ecosystem.
- Your work will enable confident code reviews and safe automation of workflows at scale.
- This is an individual contributor role with broad influence across engineering, security, product, and infrastructure teams, and a strong opportunity to improve developer efficiency across eBay.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering in a large-scale environment, including significant hands-on work with Git-based platforms.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, with experience using REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and infrastructure-as-code to automate platform operations.
- Experience integrating GitHub with CI/CD, artifact, and quality or security tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, or similar platforms.
Compensation
- Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
- $196,800 - $262,700
- The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
- If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
