About the role
- The APEX Procurement Specialist is a part-time, remote negotiable position serving as a resource for Native/tribally owned businesses seeking procurement technical assistance.
- Preference will be given to candidates living in or near Western Montana.

Responsibilities
- Deliver or support training related to government contracting.
- Post-award contract support
- Monitor client progress, maintain accurate records and ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and prime contractors
- Support program visibility through social media and community engagement
Nice to have
- Significant experience in government contracting, procurement, business development, or related field is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Federal procurement systems, tools, and databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong client engagement and advisory skills (one-on-one and group settings).
