Responsibilities
- Design & Drafting
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for valves, actuators, and related components using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and design specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and company design practices.
- Product Development Support
- Support new product development, product upgrades, and cost-out initiatives.
- Assist engineers in concept development, prototyping, and design validation.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on manufacturability and performance.
- Maintain revision control and ensure design data integrity in PLM/PDM systems.
- Testing & Validation Support
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Education

- Understanding of mechanical design fundamentals (tolerancing, fits, materials, GD&T).

- We Offer
Nice to have
- 2-7 years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or product engineering (valves, actuators, rotating equipment, or similar industrial products preferred).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems and ERP systems a plus.
Skills
- Work on industry-leading actuator technologies used worldwide.
Compensation
- Salary range is intended to provide a general guideline.

- This includes a generous wage starting between $28.00-$43.00/hour and benefits package that offers a 401k with company match as well as company funded pension.
