About the role
- Maintenance Engineer Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 12 Months Qualifications: Mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills, must analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery.
- Flexible and adaptable in working with/on a variety of equipment, processes, projects or assignments.
Responsibilities
- Uses judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks and prioritize workflow.
- Works independently with minimal supervision and prioritizes own work schedule.
- Ability to perform all functions of job within 12 months.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, diagrams and equipment specifications.
- Working knowledge of other maintenance trades/crafts.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Mandatory City of Detroit Third Class Refrigeration License or an Electrician Journeyman's status within 1yr of employment (Required)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Personal Computers and basic use of a Windows environment preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience preferred.
