Position Overview The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for drilling and blasting projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and geotechnical data.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on-site in Winchester, Virginia and occasionally visit project locations as needed.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and geotechnical reports.
Strong analytical and numerical skills for performing quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and risk assessments.
Proficiency with estimating or construction management software, as well as MS Excel and other standard office tools.
Solid understanding of construction means and methods
experience with drilling and blasting or heavy civil work is highly preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
