Responsibilities
- Assist in the design process of Tools, Fixtures and other equipment that are used in the Production areas
- Perform other job-related duties as directed
- Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Requirements
- Set-up and run manual mills and lathes as required
- Required Skills/Abilities:
Skills
- Good working knowledge of metal cutting feeds and speeds, threading terminology and calculating angles for setting sine bars
- Able to work from blueprints, sketches and/or verbal descriptions for planning operational sequences
- Good working knowledge of standard shop mathematics
- Understand grinding principles and procedures
