Responsibilities
- AEVEX uses agile and customized approaches to rapidly define, develop, and deliver specialized solutions for airborne special mission needs for the U.S. Government, partner nations, and commercial businesses.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
- Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
- Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds

- Highly skilled in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong ability to interoperate and explain mechanical and electrical drawings to production technicians.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Ability to be flexible in various work scenarios to adjust priorities needed to meet evolving requirements and challenges.
- Demonstrative ability to be proactive and take initiate to during day-to-day tasks.
- Strong ability to work independently, confidently making decisions to guide other towards project goals.
- Strong ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide guidance and collaborate with other team members.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and industry standards, such as FAA regulations, AS9100, ISO 9001, and IPC-610/620.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field required.

- Evaluates existing manufacturing processes to improve them, working broadly from supply chain to business systems to help things run smoothly.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assures product and process quality by designing and implementing testing methods where required.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
