About the role

  • This role oversees the flow of material from supplier sourcing and purchasing through manufacturing and final customer delivery.
  • This role requires a proactive thinker to ensure that the manufacturing team has the right materials at the right time to meet revenue demands.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor adherence to the company's inventory targets.

Responsibilities

  • The Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics is responsible for managing day-to-day logistics, procurement, inventory operational activities to support business objectives and customer requirements.
  • The manager will work cross-functionally to improve logistics processes, support international shipments, and implement robust inventory controls.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments to support production schedules, customer deliveries, and quarterly business objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable import/export regulations and company policies.
  • Work with custom brokers and logistics providers to support complex customs classifications (HS Codes), valuations, and country-of-origin documentation to minimize shipment delays.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, careers, and custom brokers.
  • Monitor transportation performance, support vendor negotiations and identity opportunities to improve service levels, transit times, and freight costs.
  • Manage the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Translate sales forecasts into actionable build plans and procurement schedules.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and support sourcing activities, contract administration, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Deep knowledge of International Customs Regulations (Canada/USA/EU/APAC) and ERP systems.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of International Customs Regulations (Canada/USA/EU/APAC) and ERP systems.

Compensation

  • Proven ability to build departments from scratch and separate "Supply Chain" functions from "Manufacturing" functions.
  • Solid understanding of electro-mechanical supply chain management.

  • The expected base pay range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 CAD.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
