About the role
- The Industrial Engineering Technologist is responsible for the development, improvement, implementation and evaluation of processes within the manufacturing area of the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and improve our manufacturing process ensuring the highest quality and the lowest cost products are produced using best practices such as Lean Manufacturing.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicator ( KPI ) executive files with savings for the fiscal year
- Work on automation with the mechanics in the production floor, to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Maybe required to travel between Winnipeg plants.
- Bachelor D egree in Industrial Engineering is considered an asset
- At 3 years of experience as a technologist or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be familiar with computers and business software such as MS Office, Excel, CAD, and ERP software.
Nice to have
- Apparel manufacturing experience preferred.
