Compensation
- $62,900.00 - $116,900.00
- Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
- nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location.
- Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
- Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

- Actively monitor demand indicators to issue purchase orders that meet direct raw material component needs.
- Manage dates on open purchase orders, monitor vendor performance for timely delivery, and drive vendor development activities.
- Maintain data integrity of key detailed fields related to demand signaling to ensure accurate purchase order placement.
- Proactively analyze data to collaborate with suppliers and the Strategic Sourcing Team to detect potential supply risks and apply solutions.
- Provide detailed information on encouraged availability of materials cross-functionally with Production Planning, Operations, and other teams.
- Leverage analytics to understand inventory levels and efficient stock positions of raw material components.
- Develop commodity market awareness and comprehension of supply base.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to coordinate replenishment strategies and assess opportunities for improvement.
- Direct efforts to optimize procedures involving raw material component procurement.
- Collaborate with Production and Receiving teams to coordinate return material authorization efforts for defective or non-conforming material.
- Interact with suppliers regularly and participate in monthly or quarterly business reviews.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management/procurement or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
