About the role
- Legislative & Regulatory Monitoring: Track and analyze political, legislative, and regulatory developments at the local, state, and federal levels; assess their impact on business operations and priorities.
- Internal Advisory: Advise senior leadership on public affairs matters, ensuring alignment between external policy trends and internal business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Advocacy Strategy Development: Identify priority issues and lead the creation and implementation of proactive advocacy strategies that mitigate risk and create competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with elected officials, policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to advance the companys public policy interests.
- Project & Consultant Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives and manager external consultants involved in public affairs and government relations activities.
