Responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimize Backend services in Python, primarily to automate and modernize financial forecasting processes;
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions;
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of code, processes and tools (automated tests, CI/CD, monitoring);
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development within complex environments;
- Experience in the banking sector or within large financial institutions (required);
Skills
- Proficiency with Linux environments and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, containerization);
- Familiarity with DataIQ, Databricks and Snowflake;
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB);
Compensation
- Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with employer contribution up to a maximum of 3% of your gross salary.
