The Revenue Accountant is no exception and is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our fire safety solutions.

The hire will be expected to learn the current process, assist with the transition to the new process, and then lead the new process.
Support team efforts to continuously improve and gain operation efficiencies by creating and maintaining documentation for internal training, workflow processes, and communication/troubleshooting.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly with revenue recognition and Accounting Standard ASC 606.
Maniacal attention to detail and unrelenting focus on accuracy in all duties and processes required.
Expert-level Excel skills are required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex accounting information in a clear and understandable manner.
Candidate Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly with revenue recognition and Accounting Standard ASC 606.

Minimum of a 4-year College degree and/or related certification in Accounting preferred.
Experience with software implementations/migrations and revenue related systems and tools a strong plus.

90,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
The Revenue Accountant will be a key member of the accounting close process, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations, and will also play a significant role in the annual audit.

Work Schedule and Travel: Work remotely from home and be willing to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, and travel as needed for training and team meetings.

Manage the revenue recognition process and all related tasks, from contract review to customer billing to revenue deferrals and recognition as part of the monthly close process.
