About the role

Our team here is responsible for the maintenance, service, and sustainment of the Electronic Security Systems across the bases, primarily working with Lenel and Milestone systems.
We help modernize U.S. military installations, the Department of Defense, and other federal agency facilities to be more innovative, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure.

This role may help support some other bases in the nearby region as well, at times.
Johnson Controls Federal Systems (JCFS) is a specialized team serving as a trusted partner to the federal government.
May help support some other bases in the area at times, but primary work is at Fort Sam Houston.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Department of Defense Secret clearance (or one that was active within the last 2 years).
Performs other duties as required
Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency working with Lenel, Vindicator, or Linx Predator Elite
Technical proficiency working with fiber and networks
Proficiency working with a variety of commercial and/or industrial camera systems, preferably with Lenel, Advantor, and others.
