The Maintenance Technician works aboard an at-sea processing vessel in the Bering Sea and off the coast of Washington and Oregon.

Install, maintain and repair vessel and factory equipment including pumps, motors, belts, and conveyors, bearings, hydraulics, control valves, and filtration units.
Maintain adequate and accurate inventory of necessary parts and supplies.
We manage two trawl catcher-processor vessels that operate in the Bering Sea and off the coast of Washington and Oregon.
They work under the Maintenance Tech Lead, Chief Engineer, First Engineer, and Factory Supervisor to conduct repairs, fabrication and maintenance in the factory and other parts of the ship.

Knowledge of hydraulics, welding stainless with Tig and stick equipment.
Experience managing inventory, purchasing and managing a budget.
Must be available to work both at sea and in the shipyard periods.

2+ years experience in a Maintenance Technician role on board a fishing vessel preferred.
