About the role
- Job Description: Train, monitor and assist all employees in the Gulf of Mexico and Suriname in all aspects of Bristow Group Safety Management System (SMS) and Safety Information System (SIS).
- The primary advisor to the Safety Manager for all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs.
- Ensures all areas of the business are focused on achieving quarterly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to achieve Target Zero.
Responsibilities
- Performs as the lead for all safety topics in the Business Unit
- Provides inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures
- Serves as a lead for all Safety Review Meetings
Requirements
- 10 years' experience of related aviation operations (preferably rotor craft);
- Must have some experience in the following areas
- Proven project management and analytical skills;
- Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of the Company (e.g. training management, aircraft operations, air traffic management, aerodrome operations, and maintenance organization management;
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Experience in Visio, Adobe, and Database expertise is desired;
- Must be able to read and interpret regulations and standards;
- Must be able to handle a variety of assignments and handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to travel based on operational needs;
- Must be organized and be able to work effectively independently and as a team with a large and varied workload;
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an Aviation or related field
- Must have some experience in the following areas; Safety Management, System Safety, Quality Management, Quality Auditing;
- Willingness to assist Managers, Directors and staff at the highest level of professionalism;
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access. Experience in Visio, Adobe, and Database expertise is desired;
- Must be able to handle a variety of assignments and handle multiple tasks. This at times may include changing priorities and/or deadlines;

Nice to have

- Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an Aviation or related field
- Preferred certification as a pilot or AMT;
