About the role
- The Disability Allies (DA) is dedicated to providing social opportunities to connect young adults and children with and without disabilities.
- The Event Planner is a part time position.
- The Event Planner reports to the Director and is responsible for the planning and organization of our events and managing our event registration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of individuals attending our monthly events
- Ability to connect with others and develop relationships
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
- Ability to maintain detailed records and confidential information
Requirements
- Must be able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- You must be willing to join us at our monthly committee meetings at the Milltown Public Library at 10am on the Second Saturday of the Month.

- The Disability Allies is nonprofit organization with the mission of connecting young adults with and without disabilities.
- Our events are open to anyone that has a disability, knows someone with a disability or is supportive of people with disabilities.
- The job of the mentor is to help the participants with their social skills and insure that everyone interacts with each other.
