About the role
- As our new Junior-level Environmental Scientist, you will play an important role on our Land Quality and Remediation team.

Responsibilities
- We deliver services through the integration of over 30 disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability.
Requirements
- Minimum of a two-year environmental technician diploma required.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in contaminated site work including leading and supporting environmental site assessments (Phase I, II, and III ESAs), soil and groundwater sampling (including environmental drilling experience utilizing methods that include solid-stem auger, hollow-stem auger, direct push, sonic drilling and bedrock coring), and remediation programs (including directly supervising contractors performing 'high-risk' work such as drilling, demolition and/or excavations).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant knowledge and practical application of health & safety requirements unique to oil and gas facilities, construction sites, subsurface investigations, and contaminated sites. Preference will be given to applicants already possessing training certificates including First Aid/CPR, POST Level II, Ground Disturbance Level II (Alberta) and Ontario Book 7 Traffic Control.
- Must have past experience working in remote locations (e.g. Canadian Territories)
- Must possess professional status or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T, P.Tech, C.E.T etc.)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites/clients

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $36.00 - $38.72. Final agreed-upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
