About the role

  • We invite you to join the Hexcel team at various manufacturing sites, sales offices and R&D centers around the globe.
  • Provide systems, resources, procedures to ensure products and processes are in compliance to multiple aerospace and other industries' certifications and quality standards, as applicable.
  • Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by managing all activities pertaining to the maintenance of an effective Quality Management System.
  • Coordinate and lead activities of the Corrective Action process.
  • Organize, develop and motivate the quality department to meet site objectives while maximizing human resource utilization.
  • Lead facility efforts for continual improvement in the level of Customer Satisfaction. Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • Experience in statistical techniques for process control and data analysis.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a cross-functional team environment is critical.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and f ive years' experience in quality or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or industrial certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP including Auditor Certifications. ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management System knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in statistical techniques for process control and data analysis. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework experience.
  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Solid people and organizational management and development skills
  • Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines is essential.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP including Auditor Certifications.
  • ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management System knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • ERP/MRP experience preferred.
