About the role
- We invite you to join the Hexcel team at various manufacturing sites, sales offices and R&D centers around the globe.
- Provide systems, resources, procedures to ensure products and processes are in compliance to multiple aerospace and other industries' certifications and quality standards, as applicable.
- Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Lead by managing all activities pertaining to the maintenance of an effective Quality Management System.
- Coordinate and lead activities of the Corrective Action process.
- Organize, develop and motivate the quality department to meet site objectives while maximizing human resource utilization.
- Lead facility efforts for continual improvement in the level of Customer Satisfaction. Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System.
Requirements
- Experience in statistical techniques for process control and data analysis.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a cross-functional team environment is critical.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and f ive years' experience in quality or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or industrial certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP including Auditor Certifications. ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management System knowledge preferred.
- Experience in statistical techniques for process control and data analysis. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework experience.
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Solid people and organizational management and development skills
- Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines is essential.

Nice to have
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100/NADCAP including Auditor Certifications.
- ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management System knowledge preferred.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement techniques
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- ERP/MRP experience preferred.
