About the role

  • CACI is seeking a Finance Manager to support a large, complex portfolio of government contracts consisting of both CPFF and FFP programs.
  • This role partners closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, Accounting, and senior leadership to drive financial planning, forecasting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, detailed analysis and executive reporting.
  • The successful candidate will own the financial planning process, proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop solutions that improve forecast accuracy and overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis across a complex portfolio of government contracts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Spend Plans and Estimates at Completion (EACs) in partnership with Program Managers.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts for revenue, cost, EBIT, funding, and cash flow.
  • Partner with Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Accounting to understand operational drivers and translate them into accurate financial forecasts.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop recommendations, and communicate impacts to leadership.
  • Support month-end close, executive financial reviews, quarterly EAC submissions, and management reporting.
  • Drive continuous process improvements that enhance forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial visibility.
  • Build strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • This individual is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and comfortable partnering across Finance, Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Accounting to drive informed business decisions.

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience supporting DoD contracts.
  • Experience supporting CPFF and FFP contract financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience with forecasting, Spend Plans, EAC development, variance analysis, and month-end close.
  • Desired: Experience with Oracle CAPS, Deltek Costpoint, SmartView, Cognos, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supporting complex government programs with significant material and supply chain activity.
