Responsibilities

  • You'll lead a team of experienced engineers and partner closely in a triad with Product and Design. There is both mature product to support and evolve, and new discovery work to lead through ambiguity.
  • Build and grow a high performing team by creating clarity, fostering accountability, and developing engineers at every level - including Staff and Senior ICs - through thoughtful coaching and direct feedback.
  • Show up as a strong triad partner by collaborating deeply with Product and Design, constructively challenging ideas when needed, and aligning on clear success metrics that connect technical decisions to customer impact.
  • You'll lead a team of experienced engineers and partner closely in a triad with Product and Design.
  • There is both mature product to support and evolve, and new discovery work to lead through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated success partnering closely with Product and Design in a triad model, including advocating for technical investments and translating engineering work into customer impact.
  • It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience, including leading senior engineers and owning complex technical domains or multiple teams.
  • Experience coaching and growing Engineers at all levels, from Junior Engineers to Staff.
  • Strong technical depth with the ability to engage in architectural discussions, coach on engineering best practices, and confidently represent technical tradeoffs in cross functional forums.
  • Experience operating in a fast paced, high growth SaaS environment where you've balanced strategic planning with hands on delivery and execution.

Compensation

  • This role has an annual salary range of $158,400 to $247,500.
  • Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $188,100.
  • A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills.
