About the role
- The applicant can expect to expand on their role as an operator, oftentimes assisting engineers and technicians with any other necessary tasks.
- This role requires significant and frequent travel to job sites, mostly within the Intermountain Western US, but sometimes beyond.
- Travel duration can often be 7-14 days at a time, but can vary longer or shorter due to project demands.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various pieces of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform testing to collect data in a timely, orderly and accurate manner.
Requirements
- A successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task with an eye for efficiency and a safety mindset
- he or she must be a team player with a sense of adventure and be organizationally adept.
- Continuous development of one's skills and working knowledge of the ConeTec's equipment, systems and procedures.
- Provide timely assistance to Engineers and Technicians as required.
- Perform other shop functions as required.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs., climbing, crawling as well as walking on uneven ground, working long hours in all weather conditions.
- SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a commercial driver license (Class A CDL or Class B CDL acceptable) or be willing to obtain within 3 months.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is an asset.
