- Solid Power is seeking a R&D Intern to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries.

Responsibilities
- Conduct materials characterization and perform cell building activities under the guidance of scientists.
- Perform basic materials characterization including XRD, TGA/DSC, FTIR, PSA, and others.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all conducted experimentation.
- Document and follow standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work in dry room environment, gloveboxes, and chemistry lab.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to quickly demonstrate independence on routine measurements and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving research and development needs.
Nice to have
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Junior/Senior-level preferred.
- Experience with characterization techniques such as XRD, TGA/DSC, FTIR, PSA is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with gloveboxes, in dry rooms, or in wet chemical labs is a plus.
Compensation
- Hourly Compensation: $22-$23/hour
