About the role

  • Be part of a team that produces and analyzes statistics for professional sports broadcasts such as Fox Sports, CBS, NBC and various other networks.
  • A Broadcast Research Analyst is responsible for producing specialized statistics and other sports related content that will be used by broadcasters and researchers in preparation for upcoming games and during live events.
  • Generate, analyze and adjust custom reports based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Sportradar analysts must have flexibility in their schedule as hours would include holidays, evening shifts and weekends to cover live events for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB and college sports.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team to quickly and effectively resolve technical issues.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with programming/coding strongly preferred (SQL, XML, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Data analytics and reporting experience preferred.

Skills

  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

  • 50.000 - 58.000 USD annually
  • Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location.
