About the role

  • The target salary range is between $65,000 and $75,000.00 CAD Annual.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Transportation operations teams to understand cost drivers and support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate transportation network costs, route optimization initiatives, and vendor/carrier contracts
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and business cases to support capital and operational investment decisions
  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries related to SC&T costs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • The Canadian Tire FP&A team plays a critical role in enabling strong financial performance in an evolving retail environment You will partner closely with the Finance team to understand results, deliver actionable insights, and influence business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role

Nice to have

  • Strong Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus
  • Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) preferred

Compensation

  • Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for the SC&T cost centers
  • Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 CAD Annual.
  • The target salary range is between $65,000 and $75,000.00 CAD Annual.
  • Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
