About the role
- Provide compliance assistance to other departments within the refinery.
- Review new regulations for potential impacts on the refinery.
- Conduct face-to-face training for groups of various sizes and backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve existing environmental compliance programs.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions as requested.
- The Environmental Professional position (located in Catlettsburg, KY) will support the environmental compliance efforts for the refinery.
- Develop and implement new environmental compliance programs in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work as a member of an Area Team to support day-to-day operation of the refinery in compliance with applicable requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Prepare required regulatory reports in areas of responsibility.
- Review refinery projects for regulatory compliance and develop permit applications as required.
- Lead and participate in HES field audits and develop corrective actions as required.
