Responsibilities
- Minimum 8 years of progressively technically challenging color design experience
- Knowledge of product design and development process
- Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
- TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST SUBMIT A CREATIVE DESIGN PORTFOLIO.
- In this role, you will drive product excellence by connecting design, development, and manufacturing.
- Through research and a deep understanding of consumer needs, you will stay at the forefront of color trends across fashion, art, design, and sport.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional color designers, as well as footwear and apparel color designers, to create holistic head-to-toe systems and amplify seasonal concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic, Apparel, Fashion, Product Accessory, Footwear, Material or Textile Design or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Macintosh computers using Photoshop, Free Hand and/or Illustrator
- Knowledge of CAD programs, preferably in Mac environment
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
- Ability to network, influence and utilize internal and external resources
- Ability to articulate how color can affect product and sales
- Familiarity with product manufacturing processes including: materials/fabrics
