$16.80 - $21.83/HourlyActual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Works under the supervision of Nurse Manager in personal care, comfort measures and environmental services of the patients (including those needing special precautions) and performs specified treatments. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. The

Maintains clean, safe and orderly work/patient environment by cleaning work stations/areas, equipment, stocking supplies, and placing equipment in proper storage areas.
Assists and participates in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students.
Follows the plan of care that assures patients receive consistent, competent, and ethical care, within legal standards of practice, while maintaining privacy and support for the patient's value system.

Program Graduate, Nurse Aide Training Program approved by VA Board of Nursing (Required) or
Program Graduate, Virginia DMAS Approved PCA Training Program (Required)
Valid Drivers License Required
Demonstrates competent understanding of assigned plans of care within appropriate scope of practice and responsibilities as directed by the RN/LPN to include accurately completing all required documentation.
In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide the care needed as described according to the departmental policy and procedure.
Education
Program Graduate, Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Aide/EMT-B (Required) or
Experience
Licenses and Certifications
CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
