About the role

  • The Admissions Counselor III, under general supervision, functions as the senior-level counselor identifying, recruiting, and contributing to increase the population of admittance and enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing communication plans and strategies to reach prospective students. Works directly with applicants and their parents to resolve extenuating circumstances, complaints, appeals, and options for denials.
  • Organizes, implements, and reports on programs already in place. Develops new, high-impact programs designed to recruit students through departmental collaboration.
  • Assists in training admissions counseling personnel and coordinating staff development, training, and scheduling. May lead training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Nice to have

  • Applicants being considered for the equivalency must have a total of seven years of experience.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Benefits

  • Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

Visa & Work Authorization

  • A Presidential proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025.
